I want to know the ventilation in detail
Q.
I have been suffering from gout for 5 to 6 years. I would like to know about gout and how to treat it.
1. Cause of Gout
Gout is a disease in which joints suddenly swollen and become very painful. Gout is caused by uric acid, uric acid is produced from a substance called purine that comes out when the cells of our body die, and excreted through urine into the kidney. Gout patients have too much uric acid in the blood, and this uric acid accumulates in the form of crystals in the joints or tissues, and the accumulated crystals of uric acid cause inflammation in the synovial membrane surrounding the joints. Some people think that gout is not arthritis, but gout is arthritis caused by uric acid crystals. This disease usually involves only one joint at a time, often involving the thumb and toe joints. However, knees, ankles, insteps, hands, wrists, and joints of the elbow may be involved. In rare cases, shoulders, hips, spine, etc. are also involved.
There are two reasons for increased uric acid. One thing is that the uric acid production in the body is normal, but the kidney can not remove the uric acid sufficiently. Another cause is that it produces too much uric acid. Occasionally, uric acid may rise by medication. A typical example is a diuretic, which can increase uric acid levels in the blood by inhibiting the kidneys' ability to remove uric acid. Often, it is caused by genetic causes of ventilation, and obesity, drinking and food also play an important role in ventilation.
2. Treatment
Treatment of gout consists of taking medication and taking care of food intake. The purpose of the treatment is to calm the sick, improve the inflammation quickly in acute attacks, prevent future seizures and damage to the joints.
1) Drug treatment
It is not easy to use drugs when treating gout. Each individual patient needs to use different drugs and sometimes needs to make changes in one patient. If your symptoms are high, but you do not have any symptoms, most treatments are unnecessary. It is recommended that you follow your doctor's prescription for specific medications.
2) Food Regulation
There are many myths about the relationship between gout and food.
① Obesity is related to high uric acid. If you are obese, you may want to adjust your weight. However, starving or eating too much can cause more gouty urine, which can make gout worse and should be avoided. If you are not obese, be careful not to become obese by adjusting your food intake.
② You can eat your favorite foods within a certain range. If you have uric acid stones, it is better to avoid foods that can increase uric acid. The foods you should avoid are brain, kidney, meat broth, sardine anchovy, liver,
③ You can drink coffee and tea. But alcohol should be careful. If you drink too much alcohol, you may have an increase in uric acid and an acute attack.
④ It is recommended to drink at least 10 to 12 cups of water daily. Drinking a lot of water in this way helps the uric acid crystals to wash out of our bodies.
3) Surgery: Surgery is rarely used to treat gout. You may want to consider surgery if you have a large gouty nodule, become infected, continue to run out of urine such as toothpaste, or if the gout nodule is around the joint and you can not use the joint properly.
3. Findings on uric acid
If there is ventilation, there is severe pain in the joint area and the painful area swells. These symptoms improve on their own for about a week or ten days without treatment. For accurate diagnosis of gout, when there is severe pain and inflammation, the joint fluid should be removed from the affected area with a syringe and examined under a microscope to confirm uric acid crystals. Often, when the big toe is aching and the vomiting threshold is increased, it may be considered as gout. However, when uric acid is high, it is not all gout, and diagnosis of gout should be done with extreme caution because, in general, if you are diagnosed with gout, you should take your medicine for a lifetime in many cases. Therefore, for accurate diagnosis of gout, you should seek medical advice from an experienced doctor through outpatient or emergency room when you have symptoms.
4. Influence of ventilation on kidney
The crystals of uric acid can also be made into the kidneys or ureters (pipes connecting the kidneys and the bladder) and stones in the bladder. There are a variety of factors involved in making stones. For example, water does not drink properly, and water may not be enough to melt the uric acid, resulting in stones. Or, your body's metabolism may cause your urine to become acidic and cause stones. In some cases, too much food can increase uric acid, resulting in stones. Therefore, we measure urine uric acid. If there is a large amount of urine in the urine, there is a high likelihood of stones. Patients with gout often have hypertension or a kidney infection. Since all of these diseases can cause kidney damage, you should also test for this problem.
